THE MWG STORY
What started in 2015 as a small idea in a home garage has grown into a dedicated facility and a team of 10 passionate professionals. We began by wrapping cars from a home garage, spending our first year building experience, refining our craft and earning the trust of our customers.
In 2016, we took our first big step forward, moving into a space at the back of a wheel and tyre shop, where we continued to grow for the next two years.
In 2018, we made the decision to open our own shop — a small warehouse in Dandenong — marking a major milestone for the business. It was here that we welcomed our very first employee and began building the foundations of the team we have today. In 2019, we moved into a larger facility in Dandenong South, giving us the space to continue expanding and improving our services.
We remained there until 2023, when we took our biggest step yet and moved to Lynbrook. Our vision was to create more than just a workshop — we wanted to build a purpose-designed facility dedicated exclusively to Paint Protection Film (PPF) and vinyl wrapping, providing a clean, enclosed and temperature-controlled environment where every vehicle can receive the highest level of care and attention to detail.
Today, we are proud to have grown from a one-person operation in a home garage to a team of 10, and we’re excited to continue growing, evolving and pushing the standard of PPF and vinyl wrapping even further.
Melbourne’s Vehicle Protection & Customisation Specialists
At Most Wanted Garage, we believe exceptional vehicle protection and customisation comes down to more than choosing a premium film. It takes the right environment, extensive product knowledge, careful preparation and a team that treats every vehicle with genuine respect.
Based in Lynbrook and serving Melbourne and the South Eastern Suburbs, we specialise in paint protection film (PPF), vinyl car wraps, decals, chrome deletes and tailored vehicle enhancement packages. From high-end performance cars and prestige vehicles to daily drivers, our focus remains the same: deliver a refined, durable result that looks right from every angle.
Why Choose Most Wanted Garage?
A wrap or paint protection film installation is only as good as the preparation, materials and workmanship behind it. Our approach is built around precision at every stage—from the first vehicle inspection through to aftercare.
Factory-Trained and Certified Technicians
Our technicians undertake dedicated training in the installation and handling of premium vehicle protection films. This matters because PPF and vinyl are technical materials: they must be stretched, positioned and finished correctly to maintain their appearance, performance and longevity.
We use proven installation techniques to create clean, seamless edges and minimise the risk of bubbles, lift lines, overstretching or film distortion. The aim is simple: a finish that looks as close to invisible and factory-fitted as possible.
Most Wanted Garage is trained by leading paint protection technology brands, including XPEL and Avery Dennison, so our team understands how to get the best from the materials we install.
Purpose-Built, Temperature-Controlled Facility
The environment matters. Paint protection film and vinyl installation require a clean, enclosed and controlled workspace. Dust, airborne contaminants and inconsistent temperatures can affect the way film adheres to a vehicle and compromise the finished result.
Our purpose-built Lynbrook facility has been designed for vehicle wrapping, paint protection and automotive customisation. The enclosed, temperature-controlled environment helps us maintain the conditions needed for precise film application and a cleaner finish.
That means your vehicle is not being wrapped in an open workshop or an unsuitable space. It is cared for in a dedicated environment where attention to detail is part of the process.
Thorough Multi-Stage Surface Preparation
Great results start long before the film is applied. Before any PPF installation or vinyl car wrap, we inspect the vehicle and carry out a detailed preparation process.
This can include a thorough wash, chemical decontamination and clay bar treatment to remove embedded contaminants and leave the paintwork clean and smooth. Proper preparation helps maximise film adhesion and reduces the risk of imperfections being trapped beneath the surface.
We do not rush the preparation stage. It is one of the most important parts of achieving a clean, long-lasting result.
Premium Film From Industry-Leading Brands
We use high-grade products from trusted manufacturers, including XPEL paint protection film and Avery Dennison. These are premium thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) films engineered to protect paintwork while maintaining a high-quality finish.
Depending on the product selected, premium PPF can offer features including self-healing technology, hydrophobic properties and resistance to yellowing. Minor swirl marks and light surface scratches may self-heal with heat or sunlight, helping your vehicle maintain a cleaner appearance over time.
Selected films are also supported by manufacturer warranties, giving you additional confidence in the protection applied to your vehicle. We will explain the available products, coverage options and applicable warranty terms before work begins.
Precision Cutting, Hand Finishing and Hidden Edges
Every vehicle has different body lines, panel shapes and trim details. While computer-cut patterns are an important part of achieving accurate PPF coverage, a premium installation also requires careful hand finishing where appropriate.
Our team combines precision-cut patterns with meticulous trimming and edge tucking around panels, trims and difficult areas. Where required, selected exterior components may be carefully removed or adjusted so film edges can be concealed for a cleaner, more factory-style appearance.
The result is a finish that protects the vehicle without distracting from its design.
Specialist Experience Across Protection and Customisation
Most Wanted Garage is dedicated to vehicle protection, wrapping and customisation. This specialist focus means we work with a broad range of vehicles every day, from new daily drivers through to prestige, luxury and performance cars.
Whether you are protecting a new vehicle with PPF, refreshing the look of your car with a full vinyl wrap, adding custom decals and stripes, or completing a chrome delete, we can help you create a package that fits your vehicle, style and budget.
We also have specialist experience with prestige European vehicles, including Mercedes car wrapping and customisation.
Clear Advice and Genuine Aftercare
Our service does not end when you collect your vehicle. We provide practical aftercare advice to help you look after your wrap or paint protection film while it settles and throughout its service life.
We are available to answer questions about washing, maintenance, product care and what to expect after installation. If a follow-up check is appropriate, we will ensure you know what to do next.
We take pride in building long-term relationships with our customers. You can expect straightforward advice, honest recommendations and a team that genuinely cares about the finished result.
Designed Around Your Vehicle
There is no one-size-fits-all solution when it comes to protecting or customising a vehicle. Some owners want full-body paint protection, while others need a front-end PPF package for high-impact areas such as the bumper, bonnet, guards and mirrors. Others are looking for a complete colour transformation, a more subtle roof wrap or blackout accents.
We will take the time to understand what matters most to you—whether that is preserving new paintwork, creating a standout look, improving your vehicle’s road presence or protecting long-term resale value.
Our services include:
- Paint protection film (PPF)
- Full and partial car wraps
- Mercedes car wraps and vehicle customisation
- Custom stripes, decals and stickers
